step 3: copy your code

Where to paste it

1. Blogger: Layout → Add a Gadget (header, sidebar or above posts) → HTML/JavaScript → paste → Save. Or paste into a post in HTML view.
2. WordPress: a Custom HTML block in a post/page, or a Custom HTML widget.
3. Wix / Squarespace / other: add an "Embed code" or "Custom HTML" element → paste.
4. Hand-coded site: paste it where the countdown should appear, inside <body>.

You can put several countdowns on one page: each copy of the code has its own ID. To change the date later, come back, set it again and paste the new code.
